Eastern Redbud (Cercis Canadensis)

Eastern Redbud (Cercis Canadensis)

An ever popular landscaping tree, Eastern Redbud will delight neighbors and guests with its dazzling display of pink blooms from March to May.  The sweet nectar of the edible flowers will be a great attraction for honeybees and early pollinators, then after 3 weeks of blooming, the flowers depart, leaving small, tender legumes akin to miniature snow peas - delicious sauteed, and not bad in the salad bowl, either.  Our redbuds are established seedlings, between 1-2 feet tall, and ship as bare root trees, during their dormancy.

We Wait for Our Trees to Enter Dormancy Before Shipping: Pre Orders Commence Shipping From November 1st.
